Dear friends and guests,

Democratic Liberal Party Women Organization is proud to be the host of EPP Women General Board and Congress to be held on October 9th, in Bucharest, Romania, by EPP Women, with the support of Democratic Liberal Party and Konrad Adenauer Foundation, Romania. 

We welcome this special opportunity as a chance to raise awareness of Romanian society about the role and significance of EPP Women and also as a chance to build a stronger bound between the Romanian public opinion concerns and the current European Union issue debates.

The EPP Women congress works will focus on the issue “Women and the Economic Crisis: New Opportunities or a Backlash?” giving thus the participants a framework of debates and experience exchanges over the economical and financial crisis, that significantly affects al European citizens. Therefore, we view our meeting in Bucharest as an impulse and a message that all social and political forces should get involved in solving the economical crisis that affects us all.

We will take advantage of your presence in Bucharest to be your devoted personal guides in getting more familiar with the Romanian political and social realities, and of course with our culture, tradition and history.
Fallowing the tradition of EPP Women meetings, we are confident that the time spent in Bucharest will also be a time of strengthening our international network, personal experience exchange and best practice share.
